The Sixth Summer Research Program Sponsored by the Engineering Department

Student interns officially ended their 8-week Engineering Summer Research on July 25th. This year the Engineering Summer Research program included two graduate students, twelve undergraduate EE students and three students form local high schools.

EE Alumnus Represents Rigol at ASEE

Daniel Monforte, Engineering graduate of 2016 represented Rigol at the 125th ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition in Salt Lake City. Daniel moved to Rigol Technologies, Inc. in 2016 and is currently working there as an applications engineer.

2017 Electrical Engineering Alumni Reunion

More than thirty alumni returned to Sonoma State University for the 2017 Electrical Engineering Alumni Reunion, where they had the opportunity to reconnect with classmates, network with current students, and see how campus has changed since they graduated from SSU.

Engineering Student Helps Fire Victims

As more than a dozen wildfires burned through large swaths of land in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, and Yuba counties, many of SSU engineering students have been doing their part to help their communities. Among them, EE graduate student Mohammed Ibrahim is definitely noteworthy.
