Sonoma State University Engineering students presented at GHTC 2018 Poster Competition in San Jose, California!

We are excited to announce the establishment of the Intelligent Systems Laboratory (ISL). "The main goal of ISL is to advance research and training in sensors, embedded systems, and sensor data analysis areas at Sonoma State", says Dr. Sudhir Shrestha the Director of the Laboratory.

Sonoma State University Engineering faculty and students participated in the 2018 MFG Day Sonoma County event and met with high school students and teachers on October 19.

Sonoma State University Engineering faculty offered the first half-day workshop on Internet-of_Things in San Jose, CA.

Sonoma State University Engineering students McKenzie Maher and Priyanka Khera were invited to the Fall Economic Forcast to talk about their summer internship experience.

On September 17, 2018, Chun-Ting "Tim" Wang Lee from Keysight Technologies held a workshop at SSU Engineering. The workshop introduced SSU Engineering students to basic analyses and concepts in signal integrity with applications using ADS software.

On September 14, 2018 SSU Engineering students were invited to visit Pocket Radar in Santa Rosa CA. The tour was part of Engineering Science Colloquium course arranged by Mr.

Student interns officially ended their 8-week Engineering Summer Research on July 25th. This year the Engineering Summer Research program included two graduate students, twelve undergraduate EE students and three students form local high schools.

Engineering Student, Karla Grace Montenegro Montalvan, along with Mr. Shivakumar Mathapathi, an Engineering Faculty, participated in the 2018 IMRC event in Santa Clara, CA, on June 30th.

Daniel Monforte, Engineering graduate of 2016 represented Rigol at the 125th ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition in Salt Lake City. Daniel moved to Rigol Technologies, Inc. in 2016 and is currently working there as an applications engineer.
