The Engineering Science Department offered a workshop on PCB layout techniques using Autodesk Eagle software. The workshop material was prepared by David Story and delivered by David House under supervision of Dr. Mohamed Salem. The participants learned the various approaches to create a PCB layout from a circuit schematic and use design rules to ensure a sound layout. The participants also learned how to extract PCB fabrication data and prepare their designs for fabrication. About 15 sophomore and junior students in the BS-EE program participated in the workshop. This workshop was sponsored by the Electrodynamics Engineering Laboratory (eel) and the Engineering Science Department skill-building workshops initiative. Special thanks to David Story and David House for preparing and delivering the material!
