Solar Energy Monitoring System

The purpose of this project is develop and implement a self sustaining solar energy monitor and display past and current solar energy. This would allow for an accurate representation of exactly how much solar power can be harvested from that specific location. Ideally, this would be installed somewhere on the Sonoma State University campus and be connected to the internet to enable students to access the harvested data via website and/or phone application. Solar power monitors already exist but for systems already in place. Our systems aims to be a stand-alone module.
