Water Quality Monitoring System

The problem we are addressing is to companies or people who want to keep bodies of water safe to the environment and those who partake in water activities. It is hard to monitor water qualities and obtain data on them since there is a lack of technological support on this matter. The lack of knowledge makes companies and other individuals worry about the dangerous chemicals and unknown substances that could be polluting the bodies of water.

Our WQMS helps the Environmental Protection Agency who want to obtain quantitative real-time water quality data by reducing the lack of spatiotemporal coverage over local water bodies and increasing the accuracy of data collection over longer periods of time, unlike other WQMS's that tend to lack long-term accurate data collection.​
