The first winner of the electrical engineering monthly challenge, the Q-MARGIN, for the Fall semester is announced. Adam Ortega won the September challenge, which was on the topic of VLSI design. The winner is presented with a $25 gift card courtesy of the Engineering Science Department. The prize was made possible through a generous donation by Dr. Don Estreich, an adjunct professor at the department. The Engineering Science Department would like to congratulate the winner and wish success to all other contenders. The Q-MARGIN competition is devised by the Electrodynamics Engineering Lab (eel) to encourage students to think in a creative fashion beyond classroom material.
