Gap Wireless is collaborating with the Electrodynamics Engineering Laboratory (EEL) at the Engineering Department to strengthen education and research in the key area of RF testing. Faculty and students will now have access to four RF Test Shielded Enclosures. The equipment will be particularly useful in conducting EMI/EMC testing for the ongoing research projects at EEL. The shielded enclosures will also be used in demonstrations of RF shielding in electromagnetics and RF labs and lectures, which will help the students to better understand the various concepts related to RF shielding, electromagnetic interference, and electromagnetic compatibility. Dr. Mohamed Salem, the director of EEL, would like to thank Gap Wireless for their continued support and collaboration. Special thanks to Mr. Dino Berardi and Mr. Rob Rowlands from Gap Wireless for arranging this exciting collaboration.
