First Place at IEEE SusTech 2020

This year the engineering students from Sonoma State University awarded the first place at the The 7th Annual IEEE Conference on Technologies for Sustainability (SusTech 2020) in April. The project entitled "Implementation of an Autonomous Charging Platform", was presented by Anthony Aboumrad, Joseph Haun and Alexander McGinnis under guidance of Dr. Nansong Wu. Eleven teams from around the world participated in this event. Each year, SusTech conference brings together scientists, engineers, technologists and scholars from multiple disciplines to hold a dialogue on environmental issues and collaborate on ideas to develop and utilize innovative tools and intelligent systems to address them. The conference is a combination of academic papers and invited speakers with specialties that are making an impact in the environment sustainability.
