Engineering Students Groups Win Top Awards at the 2024 SSU Science Symposium

Nine Electrical Engineering student teams exhibited their exceptional projects, each one a testament to the talent and hard work within Senior Design Projects.

We are especially proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of two teams who have truly shone in this year's symposium:

Ongaro Green Science Award Recipients:
Gabe Esquibel, Josh Farrell, Giancarlo Succi, and Client: George Ellison, for their exceptional work on the Apiary Assistant project. Their dedication and ingenuity in this project have earned them well-deserved recognition through this distinguished award.

Best Poster Award​ Recipients:
Our heartfelt congratulations go to Jeff Camilletti, Dano Lopez, and Juan Menendez for their outstanding contribution to the farming community with their project, ORRHA: Open Range Ranch Hand Assistant. Their innovative approach and commitment to excellence have rightfully earned them the Best Poster Award.

These accomplishments not only reflect the talent and dedication of our students but also highlight the remarkable contributions they are making to their community. We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to witnessing their continued success in their academic and professional pursuits.
