A five-member biomedical engineering team from Medtronic, a multinational medical device company with a division in Santa Rosa, CA, visited the SSU Engineering Department on November 2nd to organize a career event. Insightful and informative presentations by the Medtronic team were followed by breakout sessions. EE and ECE students appreciated the conversational nature of the round-table breakout sessions and the opportunity to engage with the professionals one-on-one to learn about career opportunities, experiences as engineers, and industry trends. The event was jointly hosted by the EE Club and the Society of Women in Engineering (SWE).
