Alyssa Wright, an EE undergraduate student, presented her research paper at the 125th ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition in Salt Lake City. Alyssa's paper is titled "Aksense: A General-purpose Wireless Controlling and Monitoring Device for Teaching First-year Electrical and Computer Engineering" . This work was collaborative project with David House and David Story, both engineering students at Sonoma State University. Mr. Robert Evan Rowlands, the industry project mentor from Gap Wireless, was also the co-author of the paper. This year over 2000 leaders in various engineering-related fields from more than 500 university and college engineering schools, including professors, deans, instructors and students, presented their works, exchange ideas and interact with their colleagues and industry counterparts.
