About

Mr. Bruce has taught undergraduate and graduate courses for over fifteen years within the realm of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Science at Sonoma State University, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, and Dominican University. He has supervised the capstone or thesis projects for sixty-three students. Prior to academia, he worked in the Visual Effects industry as a systems programmer and digital artist with four feature film credits. He co-founded and served as CTO in numerous tech start-ups, one of which received seed funding. His research interests include Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, Distributed Computing, Information Retrieval, Robotics, and IoT.
