SSU Engineering Student Passes FE Exam
We are proud to share that Lee Amandoli, an engineering student at Sonoma State University, has successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Electrical and Computer Exam.
Lee took the exam in December of 2025, after three months of dedicated preparation. In January, this year, he received the exciting news that he had passed. Reflecting on the experience, Lee noted that while the exam was long and challenging, consistent and focused preparation made it manageable.
Passing the FE exam is a significant milestone on the path to becoming a licensed professional engineer. It is the first of two required exams for licensure. Lee is now continuing his journey by preparing for the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Exam, which he plans to take in late June 2026.
We congratulate Lee on this outstanding achievement and wish him continued success as he works toward his goal of becoming a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California.
