Introduction to Embedded Systems Student Presentations, 2026
Every Spring, students enrolled in Introduction to Embedded Systems (EE 310) in the Electrical Engineering program at Sonoma State University present their final projects in Salazar Hall. The presentations showcase a wide range of embedded systems applications developed throughout the semester using microcontrollers, sensors, communication modules, displays, and real-time control systems.
The projects provide students with hands-on experience in hardware and software integration, system design, debugging, and technical communication. During the presentations, students demonstrate their working prototypes, explain their design process, discuss challenges encountered during development, and answer questions from faculty, students, and visitors.
Such presentations continue to highlight the creativity, technical skills, and innovation of Sonoma State University engineering students in the field of embedded systems and microcontroller-based design.
