The objective of Wine Shipment Sensor is to track a shipment and detect changes in temperature, humidity, and any high vibrating motions for over a long distance. There will be an STM sensor tile that will collect data that will be saved on a SD card.The collected data is retrievable via an Python GUI off the SD card. The sensor will be using accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, temperature, and humidity, which are all built in to the sensor tile. Data is collected via csv file where we can use the charted data to plot motion, temperature, and humidity. A device like this is will be a cheap alternative for shippers and collectors of perishable goods because of the additional high cost of shipping ($100). The Wine Shipment Sensor will insure the trip and can used for a claim if the customer receives an unexpected or unfavorable wine shipment.
