Congratulations to our Electrical Engineering students who showcased a historically high number of 18 posters representing their projects and research at the 2020-21 SSU Science Symposium. Their work can be viewed at the Sonoma State University Virtual Research Gallery.

Congratulations to Joseph Haun whose work on "Design of Polarization Rotator Metamirror Using Metaparticle Surrogate-Based Optimization" has won the "Bright Idea" award. Joseph earned his BSEE degree from our department in Spring 2020. He is currently studying toward his master's degree in our MS-CES program. This project was advised by Dr. Mohamed Salem.
