Congratulations to our Engineering students for being selected to represent Sonoma State University at the 35th Annual CSU Systemwide Student Research Competition!

Daniel Monforte, Engineering graduate of 2016 represented Rigol at the 125th ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition in Salt Lake City.

Alyssa Wright, an EE undergraduate student, presented her research paper at the 125th ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition in Salt Lake City.

Student interns officially ended their 8-week Engineering Summer Research on July 25th. This year the Engineering Summer Research program included two graduate students, twelve undergraduate EE students and three students form local high schools.

A team of electrical engineering students at SSU has been working on an industrial project for Cisco Systems, Inc. for more than a year. The project involved designing, creating schematics, and programming an electronic board.

As the spread of COVID-19 crisis persists and universities shift into remote learning with almost no access to laboratories, many students, staff and faculty members are scrambling to adapt to the new reality.

This year the engineering students from Sonoma State University awarded the first place at the The 7th Annual IEEE Conference on Technologies for Sustainability (SusTech 2020) in April.
