The 36th Annual CSU Biotechnology Symposium was held from Thursday to Saturday, January 11-13, 2024, in Santa Clara, California. Two engineering teams presented their research work at the conference. BSEE students Jorge Romero, Oscar Avendano, Gabe Esquibel, and Flor Luna presented their poster on "EMOTE: A Wearable Device for Emotion Estimation and Classification". The team worked in Professor Mohamed Salem's lab, the Electrodynamic Engineering Lab (EEL). MSECE student Sokiyna Naser presented her poster entitled "At-Home Patient Self-Breath Data Collection with a Sensor Device for Diabetes Study". She worked with Professor Sudhir Shrestha in the Intelligent Systems Lab.
