A team of electrical engineering students at SSU has been working on an industrial project for Cisco Systems, Inc. for more than a year. The project involved designing, creating schematics, and programming an electronic board. The team worked hard despite the transition to remote instruction due to the pandemic and successfully delivered the project. The team consists of Joseph Haun, David House, Adam Ortega, Rania Saba, Armando Santos-Landa, Alexander Sneed, and David Story, working as members of the electrodynamics engineering lab (eel) under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Salem. Through this project, the students gained valuable experience in working with industrial standards and developed a deeper appreciation for rigorous workflow and work practices. Students were presented with gifts from Cisco as a token of appreciation for their distinguished work.
