Sonoma State University’s Electrical Engineering program was such a joy to attend. Its project based curriculum, where most classes either are or have a lab section meant the class sizes remained small making a very intimate learning environment with a real family vibe.
The engineering department at SSU is a hidden gem. The hands-on skills we gain in the labs are invaluable, and the small classroom setting allows students to learn efficiently and effectively!
Being in small classes means one on one attention with the professors. All the professors want to see you succeed and fully understand the classes you take.
This summer has been unforgettable. I loved working with the electrical engineering department at Sonoma State. Everyone was inclusive and patient with my questions.
It is a very rewarding experience to give back to the students and the department. The is why this year I am assisting one team of students with their senior design project.
